Season 6 of Weeds still is a few months away, but we got some disappointing news this week: Elizabeth Perkins has left the grow house. I hate that. Sure, Celia was pretty much a mess last year, but that was indicative of the whole of Season 5. The move from Agrestic to the border was not good for anyone, to be honest. But Perkins earned three Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for earlier seasons as Celia, so her character deserves a proper sendoff. The very good news is that Isabelle Hodes no longer will be the lone lesbian on Weeds. Yes, the original Sarah Connor. In other Weeds news, Showtime released the Season 6 promotional poster.
Isabelle Hodes : I love Peggy and she loves me. Celia Hodes : She's a little Asian girl. They look like boys already. You might as well go for the real deal. Peggy : Hey!

By Glenda Cooper. Her father worked for a local car dealer, her mother worked as a secretary. She was far from a goody-goody — she forced her younger brother to shoplift sweets, and only made an effort in lessons that interested her. A stubborn streak, however, meant that when a careers adviser suggested she should set her sights no higher than a polytechnic, she immediately resolved she would go to Cambridge to study English. She did — which is where she met her long-time comedy partner and Bake Off co-host, Mel Giedroyc.
